Calvary Chapel
The heart of Biola’s spiritual life. With its iconic stained glass and golden artwork, Calvary Chapel is a campus landmark. Capture the cross or the chapel’s full facade with the building framed against the sky.Metzger Lawn
Open, inviting and always full of life. Whether it’s students tossing a Frisbee, picnicking between classes or gathering for campus events, Metzger Lawn offers a perfect green backdrop for group photos and candid moments.Library Walkway
A path through knowledge. Flanked by our library and shady trees, this walkway leads to the heart of academic life. Great for walking poses, candid moments with friends en route to class or graduation portraits.Fluor Fountain
A splash of joy. This fountain is a favorite meeting spot and one of the most photogenic places on campus. Try a close-up to catch the sparkle of the water, or step back for a full view with friends in frame.Bell Tower
Where praise resounds. Rising above campus, the Bell Tower is one of Biola’s most recognized landmarks. It’s a striking icon and great to capture it silhouetted during golden hour.Jesus Mural: The Word
Iconic and inspiring. Painted by Kent Twitchell (with help from Biola art students), this massive mural was created in 1989–90 on the west face of Bardwell Hall. It stands roughly 40 feet tall, a vivid, enduring reminder of Christ at the heart of campus. After years of weathering, it was restored in 2011, bringing back its vibrant original colors — still a must-see spot for photos and reflection.Lim Center Plaza
Where innovation meets community. The Lim Center is a hub for science, technology and collaboration. Its modern lines and open plaza space make for dynamic shots, especially at sunset when the glass reflects the warm light.Horton Hall
A residence with character. Known for its vibrant community, Horton Hall’s brick facade and lively courtyard are ideal for roommate and dorm group shots.Hope Hall Tree
A campus icon in bloom. The roundabout outside Hope Hall is home to one of Biola’s most photogenic trees. In front of our largest residence hall, it’s a beautiful centerpiece for your photo.Sycamore Lawn – Beneath the Biola Sign
A photo worth framing. The Biola sign on the side of Metzger Hall stands proudly above this tree-filled lawn, making it a perfect spot for a classic “first day” or “graduation countdown” shot. Capture your Biola journey here.
