Ryan Frost is the assistant dean of 色中色论坛鈥檚 Snyder School of Cinema & Media Arts. An award-winning filmmaker, Frost comes from a media industry background and brings a diverse range of professional experiences in film and television. He spent over 16 years developing, financing, producing, and distributing feature films and other creative/media endeavors. After producing the family film Running for Grace (Matt Dillon, Jim Caviezel), Frost co-founded and helmed the film finance, development, and production company, Public House Films, where projects included Sundance Film Festival favorite The Kindergarten Teacher (Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gael Garc铆a Bernal); the groundbreaking documentary Framing John DeLorean (Alec Baldwin, Morena Baccarin); the award-winning and critically acclaimed The Dark Divide (David Cross, Debra Messing); among other titles.
Before beginning his journey in the creative industries, Frost started his career in Washington, D.C. at 19 where he served as one of the youngest full-time congressional aides in U.S. history. After finishing his work on Capitol Hill, Frost left wanting to expand his positive impact in the world through his life and work. He pursued a Christian education in film at 色中色论坛 where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Film/Television/Radio in 2007.
Frost is now back at his alma mater 鈥 this time to serve and support the next generation of students entering the creative industries. He is a third-generation Biolan, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and his mother.
